Cobra KING Tec X Golf Irons | Steel
Cobra KING Tec X Golf Irons | Steel | Right Handed
Ideal for golfers with a handicap range of 10-20 seeking top-notch improvement in their game, the KING Tec X offers improved distance and forgiveness in a compact design. With a slightly larger profile than the KING TEC, the KING TEC-X boasts a more streamlined and elegant topline and reduced visual offset compared to its predecessor.
COBRA® revolutionizes the traditional four-step forging process with their fifth strike technique, guaranteeing superior softness and precise shaping. Beginning with carbon steel billets heated to 1200 degrees Celsius, the Rough Forging process (steps 1-3) bends and forges the metal into the rough shape of an iron head. The fourth step applies 1200 tons of pressure at 800 degrees Celsius, refining and adding detail to each head. In the fifth step, 2000 tons of pressure at 700 degrees Celsius creates a consistent grain structure. After cooling, each clubhead is polished and meticulously milled using a CNC machine for precise faces and grooves.
The updated design of the Cobra KING TEC-X Golf Irons | Steel includes softer and lighter foam microspheres that fill the hollow clubhead, providing a more responsive feel and reducing vibration upon impact. In addition, the incorporation of Cobra's PWRSHELL H.O.T. Face and Variable Thickness Geometry results in increased ball speeds and longer distances with every swing.
A 70g tungsten weight is strategically positioned low in the clubhead to lower the center of gravity, providing improved stability and forgiveness for off-center hits. This suspension also promotes increased flexibility in the sole and face, resulting in enhanced ball speed and greater distance.
